Programs & training
Lived Experience. Practical Skills. Pathways to Opportunity.
LeBron-Legacy programs are designed to do more than educate—they equip, connect, and create pathways forward. Our programming combines lived experience, professional expertise, culturally responsive education, and real-world opportunities.
Career Certificates → Career Pathways
Access free online Coursera training and Google Career Certificates in high-demand fields including cybersecurity, project management, data analytics, IT, digital marketing, and more. Through workforce collaborations, including MAHVCorp, participants can also explore internship and employment pathways across fashion, marketing, financial services, and other industries.
GPS: Money, Mindset & Economic Empowerment
Financial literacy that speaks to real life. Participants explore budgeting, credit, saving, investing, responsible and impulsive spending, their personal relationship with money, and strategies for building financial stability and generational wealth. Specialized tracks allow the curriculum to meet participants at different stages of life.
Gang Culture, Prevention & Intervention
Go beyond statistics to understand the culture. Lived-experience-informed training helps professionals recognize gang dynamics, communication styles, risk and protective factors, street influences, and opportunities for prevention and intervention—strengthening their ability to engage young people authentically.
Street, Jail & Prison Cultural Competency
Understand the culture to better serve the person. These workshops help professionals interpret the language, unwritten rules, behaviors, survival mechanisms, and social dynamics associated with NYC street culture, incarceration, and reentry—helping bridge the divide between institutions and the communities they serve.
Legal Empowerment & System Navigation
Knowledge can be power when people know how to use it. Participants build practical understanding of their rights, responsibilities, reentry-related systems, government processes, available resources, and when to seek qualified legal assistance.
Whole-Person Wellness: Mind, Body & Hygiene
Wellness goes beyond exercise. Programming incorporates physical fitness, nutrition, personal hygiene, mental and emotional well-being, discipline, healthy routines, stress management, and sustainable lifestyle choices that support the whole person.
Reentry & Life Skills: Preparing for What Comes Next
Practical preparation for rebuilding life after incarceration, including decision-making, goal setting, communication, personal responsibility, navigating systems, financial stability, employment readiness, and establishing healthy routines and relationships.
Youth Development & Credible-Messenger Engagement
Reach young people where they are—and help them see where they can go. Culturally responsive programming combines mentorship, lived experience, leadership development, practical life skills, positive alternatives, and credible messengers who can connect in ways traditional approaches sometimes cannot.
We don't simply teach information.
We translate experience into understanding,
understanding into opportunity,
and opportunity into pathways for lasting change.
